Join the CCPL Bookmobile at Jet Crossing Stables & Sanctuary for a special literacy experience where children will read to rescue horses, learn about horse care, meet the founders of the rescue, and discover how these amazing animals find their forever homes. Participants will rotate through interactive stations and have opportunities to read to and pet the horses under volunteer supervision. This program will take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.
Children of all ages and their families are welcome to join us for this engaging, family-friendly program. While everyone is invited to participate, the activities are best suited for children ages 5 and up.
