Jet Crossing Stables & Sanctuary improves the lives of equines with compassion, consistency, and a firm belief in their potential. Regardless of their background or reason for placement, we promote healing and enrichment, ensuring every equine is nurtured, valued, and loved.
Through gentle, individualized training and handling, we help equines feel safe with humans again. Exercises are tailored to their needs, allowing them to move at their own pace. From behavioral therapy and desensitization to trailer loading and trust-building exercises, we focus on restoring confidence and creating a sense of security.
Every equine at Jet Crossing Stables & Sanctuary carries a story of resilience. They’ve overcome incredible challenges to find safety, trust, and a new beginning in our care.
Noelle, a 22-year-old Quarter Horse, joined JCSS in January 2026. Though deeply loved by her family, life changes led them to entrust us with her care. Noelle is slowly finding her place at JCSS with their continued love and support. Shy at heart, Noelle is learning to feel safe in her new environment, and we’re honored to see her true personality emerging.
"Her gentle approach and patience have been a blessing to our rescue! She’s managed to befriend the grumpiest horse known to JCSS!"
Tootie, a 16-year-old mini donkey, arrived at JCSS in November 2025 after spending years living with goats and chickens. Unsure and defensive around other equines, she would hide behind the nearest human for comfort. Through natural horsemanship training and supervised time alongside Dolly and Daisy, Tootie is building confidence and discovering the joy of companionship.
"Each day Tootie gets a little bit more confident and braves the closeness of other donkeys! I’m hopeful that she will one day be able to freely roam with Dolly & Daisy without fear."
Dolly and Daisy arrived at JCSS in December 2024 after surviving a hoarding situation and facing an uncertain future at auction. Saved by a compassionate couple, they came to us as a bonded pair. Today, they live joyfully side by side — grooming, playing, and running to greet their humans for their favorite back scratches.
"We are so proud of these two and how far they’ve come over their first year."
Moon and Gem joined JCSS in September 2023 in need of immediate care. Moon underwent surgery for a necrotic hoof and began treatment for Cushings. Although his riding days are behind him, Moon lives his best life freely roaming the pasture and soaking up every bit of care he receives. Gem came to us morbidly obese, and immediately started a diet and exercise routine alongside treatment for Cushings. Still a little chunky, he now runs freely and enjoys a good roll in the grass.
"It is so rewarding to watch these two run around their field…knowing they are healthy and safe!"
